Your Cannabis Story

The ACNA is seeking submissions from patients who are willing to share their stories around cannabis.  We can de-identify or publish as is.

We would like to know your barriers, problems and also any successes you have had with medical cannabis treatments

A LIFE OF ITS OWN

Vignette of a classic documentary made by our Ambassador, Helen Kapalos - available to rent or buy from Vimeo.

High as Mike

Join Mike on a journey of discovery around Australia showcasing the trials and tribulations of patients using and seeking to use Medicinal Cannabis.  Mike has a brain tumour. As such, Mike’s journey is very much a typical patient journey, looking for answers to life & death questions. Travelling from Tamworth in NSW, Mike’s journey takes him to all corners of Australia in search of answers.  The documentary reveals patient testimonies with a broad range of medical conditions.

Green Light

In Australia two men are working to provide the last hope of relief — and in some cases cure — for thousands suffering chronic and terminal illnesses. They provide blackmarket medicinal cannabis for people who have nowhere else to turn. The plant is now widely considered to have lifesaving potential, yet swift and compassionate access is still not an option for many people in need. Their job is to help sick and dying Australians. It is a duty for which they are prepared to risk their freedom.

REAL STORIES. REAL PEOPLE.
